Maybe the weight of the impact of a rate cut on the exchange rates is distorted by geopolitical events and the upcoming US election..
I would argue that no matter how the fed decides, the trajectory of the economical cycle won't change much...
So if the decision (rate cut or not) as you imply is already priced in..it will be a non event .. and there is no need to bother..
Just another trading day in our trading life...
But I guess you want to imply that the market could be on the wrong side..and a significant correction can occur???

we are between weekly r78 and r100 rn

Davit wojld say the market will start to turn Thuesday or Wednesday. Depending on your trade, I think AudUsd will turn tomorrow. Remember Davit was holding for the swing.

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting in this great thread, and I’m hoping to get some feedback based on the attached trades, which I all completed today. Am I on the right track, or is there something I should change?
On the AUDCAD pair, I closed the trade before reaching my original profit target, so overall, all four of my trades made a profit on my demo account. I’m looking for potential turning points on the 4-hour time frame. When a candle touches a level, I switch to the 30-minute time frame and wait for a rejection candle, followed by a move in the direction I anticipate.
I hope I’m heading in the right direction, and I’d greatly appreciate any critique or confirmation.

You trade quite similar to me
I wait for a pivot to be touched and then wait for a candle confirmation pattern on 30m chart. (I personally dont use TDI or any of that). I would recommend removing the S38 and R38 lines entirely and only trading R61 & S61 and beyond (It's not that R/S38 don't work, my total profit figures shot up when I removed them completely). Also remove the hard stop loss and instead enter multiple small entries. For example, I enter for every confirmation pattern I see on each pivot line. Those two tips changed the game for me.
I just wanted to send a shoutout to Davit as well as all the contributors on this thread.

I have started implementing this pivot strategy last week and I can truly say that it has indeed been an absolute game changer for my trading performance, strategy and helped a lot with risk management etc.

LOVE this thread and happy to be part of it all.
