I am wrong a lot but this week the stars seem to be aligned for me! it happens every now and then. As you said, just need to control risk as much as possible and firmly stick to what you can control and let go of what you can't.

maybe i entered a bit too early for the short but for sure a top is forming on EU,GU and eurcad, none have taken my stop yet so this well be the highs in

boring market so far , activate long in the morning and still playing around ! anyway only breaks and hold 3166 will set be for target 3213 if plays well . similarly eurusd target 1129.take care

It's simple: prepare for furious bear post 18th. Last week showed heavy shorts on CoT. This up move will play here till next week and then take a bloody dump.

if now work a little , or start atleast ! breaks out 3151, initial target can be 3186, 3166 an intermediate sr as before

Looks like a consolidation day or just very messy day to me today. 40 pips daily range on GU and after news has hit. I thought it may give some opps after news but nothing for me. It may go a little higher today to around 3168 but no point in trading under such conditions for me personally after such an epic week. LTF looks a mess at the moment to me.

I did well to sit on the side line today, even if I say so myself! Almost took that GU long which would have worked but just wasn't perfect for me as M15 structure wasn't on my side. Was waiting for a retrace but it never came.

Next week should be real interesting with all the interest rate decisions. Am really looking forward to Wednesday, should be lots of opportunities for scalping M1 after news with any luck!

Look below 3135 for possible short.

For me it is about the swings

as retail traders we tend to focus too much on the very small movements chasing every little PB whether it be trying to find the bottom ,middle or whatever for an entry.

The bad news is that the markets are a lot bigger than what we assume and all these tiny moves are just a very tiny fraction of the overall picture, the art of trading is about being able to see that overall bigger picture and i am still learning myself but getting better with each day
