It's a pure erroneous impression to believe that market is being manipulated by anybody. The big banks, huge fund &. hedged fund and strong news which includes NFP & Interest rate releases.

The truth which is difficult to believe is that market is moved around by smart brain who are scattered round the world but interconnected through internet connectivity into decentralized FX market.

The first issue in Forex trading is the traders mindset and inability to manage risk effectively. This is because there is always an alternative clear direction which can actually serve as a profitable opportunity.

It's key to also state that I used to believe in that concept of manipulation until I Crossover to full profitability. And once a trader has an updated strategy/information the less believe in certain concept.

The greatest enemy in Forex market has always being myself not any manipulator.

Good morning mates and trust there will be a nice pips to grab today.

We are at an ideal zone to go short GBPUSD in anticipation to pick profit at 1.2967. However 4hr.RSI may not crossover below 50 which may eventually lead to continuation to the upside.

Let's play safe with proper risk management.

3 days ago Cable printed an indecision candle then yesterday printed a bullish engulfing and then today so far has printed a bullish candle with a shaven end.....
Wondering why bears think this is going to head south, maybe living on hopium or been listening to much to Zebi who hasn't got it right in months

even that is a mild one. It went up by over a 100 pips out of the blue. Well after the data releases. The only thing is market rumblings of a 0.5 cut which wouldn’t make sense as the US data releases have been largely green. Or this is a massive liquidity grab for next week.

September will end heavily bearish. That's my take with this rise. I have seen this countless times to know. Now after the cut price will sink. If they had taken it down after cut price would have risen. ri's a buy the rumour sell the fact kind of move. Does it look ramdom that random people decided to push price over 100 random pips against random data?

Edit: my short SL hit at 3120 overnight. I have sold again at 3145 and will keep selling till 3200 for a move to below 2900. Only a weekly close above 3200 will change my mind and not this week, next week.

I have been wondering which candle you have been referring to as an indecision candle since yesterday. The candle you speak of is a full bodied red candle with wicks on both sides. That's bearish and not indecision. Or are you referring to Tuesday's candle which was a doji of sorts?

Some of us are bloody profitable. Profitability is not a yardstick to determine the veracity of your claims. So long as you are not one of the biggest banks, you have absolutely no idea of the truth of the market, just like every one of us here.

Our beliefs have nothing to do with the truth. It is said that all truth is parallel. If there are governments to regulate the affairs of a nations, and the United Nations to regulate most nations under the sun, then you better believe that the Forex market is controlled. The level of interference of this control mechanism may be kept at barest minimum, but can be applied to regulate the market in the event of a sinister event, or for the benefit of a certain people or ideology. Your idea that the market is run by smart people scattered around the globe doesn't fit in with reality.

My point? You do NOT know the truth of the market like you claim. I don't know it either. None of us does!

Watching bull channel , getting resistance at last ! If enough reactions at supports ! Specially over 3128/22 , if fails then 3100 may retest ! Or top fail!

Doesn't matter if it is a red candle fact is it's an indecision candle with equal wicks top and bottom so neither bears or bulls in control. Then the following candle is bullish engulfing.
Not sure why you can't see it as an indecision candle
I said as much yesterday before the pump and what happened?? It pumped because bears were not in control, not me saying it, the charts saying it

You might know it as something else but when there is equal wicks I call it an indecision candle

If manipulation is viewed as just price movement along certain pattern, there can be a better understanding of what is happening.

FX market is likened to someone going to a war front and must be equipped with all necessary machinery to be successful.

But let's compare it with a football game. Team A may go in straight to score a goal against B or alternatively team B can take over from A and score against them. Most important phenomena here is that the point where the ball is taken over from A by team B can be seen and this will occur earlier before further damage.

In the current analysis of GBPUSD, despite the fact that market has not shown any signal of range trade, we have series of support needed to be broken before price can touch 1.2967 TP. And Price may reverse at any of this support to continue it's upside movement. The most important here is spotting the areas where likely support are located and applying Risk Management Techniques.

I hope 4hr. RSI should go below 50 and price should break all barriers and take me to 1.2967

I traded with the bank for several years and currently an Hedged Fund manager after retirement. Not here to boast dear brotherly because I am open to new ideas on daily basis.

The concept in the banking as regards FX is different from what is in circulation.

Equal wicks on a big bodied candle is not indecision. Even the image you posted disagreed with you. For a candle to be an indecision candle it has to have a small body and wicks on both sides just like the candle of Tuesday. There is no forex website or book that will describe Wednesday's candle in your chart as an indecision candle. The indecision is Tuesday's.

I give you your respect as a hedge fund manager. I don't know the size of your funds and the access you have. I wouldn't want to debate further on this, as I do not agree with your position.

However within the randomness patterns do emerge within a probabilistic landscape. Our job is to navigate that.
The HTF gives us clues on the order flow of the NET participants but it doesn't tell us it will continue, this is the assumption we make.

Right this is also what happens around around NY market close when LQ is very low which is why you see spikes around that time. However if just trade outside of these "low liquidity" times then you can easily avoid this.
