There is this expectation the US interest rate will be cut and if CPI is lower then that'll add to the over consensus. This is why no real movement on British data, on a different day this could move down 30 pips

UK data was a miss so not surprised we had a drop although I’d have expected a drop of 20 pips on the release it didn’t. So maybe a trickle down to the 13070 area again

Still have to disagree, that move down was the last swing down in the overall swing, no sellers trapped here , got my profit not as much as i would of liked and price made a new low so a valid swing down.

A trap occurs when price is making a correction ie A (abc B) C and the trader misinterprets the abc in the B wave for the beginning of the continuation because the abc looks like a new trend beginning.

We move into 4H for correction via the 3 swings on H1 , so now looking for an entry short , this one if right should be a better move than yesterday.

Have to disagree there, what's weighing on traders minds right now is whether the US will cut the interest rate. If they don't then your scenario will play out, if they do then expect at least 3200 possibly 3300


CPI come in under expectations will see Euro and Cable pump

Fair enough, but the next decision is not until the 18th of September, today we have CPI which could impact price, and i believe if markets are expecting a cut by the Fed then the institutions will be looking for a lower level to buy which ties in with this whole move being a correction within the daily uptrend
