Now I know why I bother reading this forum.

It's not for the calls, although have made some really good ones.

It's definitely not the, cable is going to kabillion or zero rants.

It is the brasilian and british humor.

+ + +

Now I have to nominate best post from today of about 8 pages back.

Something along the lines of:

If cable doesn't go up or down it definitely will have sidways action. If it has a pulse I would hope so. Someone else got me thinking about Euro-land closing down for hot summers. With global warming will they soon take off from April-November? You know France will.

Brazil won COPA but sacrificed 200 lives...
If not dead in the stadium, elsewhere.
I'm sorry for those on board and their families.

We WILL see 2.0400 in a day or two...

Analysts were not yet convinced the rally was sustainable as recent spikes had prompted investors to take profits.

"We are not really picking up a clear trend in British Pound at the moment," said David Holmes, director of Institutional forex at at Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank.
"The market is generally long with a positive outlook, but the trouble is that there is no new money flowing"

Actually, buying a share in Microsoft or barclays bank or bp is gambling as far as i am concerned - and getting married ? - phew that's a blank cheque and a hostage to fortune - investing all your wordly wealth and happiness to a person headed for the menopause ? - now that's gambling !

What gets me is that I'm making all this fat profit on cable, but at this rate when the time comes to transfer my cash back into good old British Pounds its only just going to be enough to cover a gorilla suit.

Yes, similar gains as september crude (+1.2%)
But spot silver even better (+2.3%).

damn, i have never felt this confused in my trading life. I don't know what to do, wait or enter. waiting is the best option i know but...you know..human mind.
I made few desperate trades, and I was knocked on my head. Process of learning i guess, 3 trades on different pairs and all 3 felt like a huge baseball bat shoved at my a$$.

I will relax, sleep, rejuvenate, and will be back for attack like a injured tiger. I will be back...back with a vengeance back at Asia open.

If cable is unable to close above 2.0550 today, I think a short position will have an excellent R:R ratio. Potential profit before the end of the week should then be at least 150 pips.

Just read this, can anyone explain it

17:13 US TECHS: Bear-Flag Pattern Seeing Follow Through for Dollar Boston,
July 18. Daily charts have seen a bear-flag pattern for the Dollar Index
developing over the last few days and today's weakness is starting to see follow
through for this pattern as the index attacks the prior low from December 2004
at 80.39. A close below there today would be a strong indication that the
market is on a path toward 1992 lows at 78.70.
While there are clearly some deeply oversold momentum studies for this
market in different time frames, it does not appear to be the time to try and
find a reversal point for the trend. The pattern of lower lows and lower highs
on the weekly chart is not a pattern that should be faded.
