In fact, I look to prop firms for the possibility of accumulating capital so that I can later start operating both in prop and in my personal account. As I do not have the capital to operate, I saw in proprietary desks an opportunity to achieve this goal.

To achieve your USD200,000 prop firm challenge, you will need to work on your Blueprint to Trading Success and reach that intermediate+ level which Big E mentioned.

I will give nothing less than 110% to achieve this goal. I will try another 10k challenge, as I currently don’t have the means to buy larger ones, but through this, I will gain the capital needed to purchase the 200k challenge. More than that, I will pass and earn my place among the greats.

As of PM, I can share with you my experience when obtaining a funded account since 2022 ($200K)

First is to start with a personal account, trade to profit and use the profit to pay challenge fee. Reason being you first have to validate to yourself of your trading to be profitable (with no restrictions).
Then allocating your profit for fee, you convert it into sunk cost for funded accounts.
If you study, the fee is ~1/2 of the allowed max loss (ie you leverage 2x). The concept is you are scaling up the capital although all locked in trading account. once you get funded and fee refunded, you are risk-free for that portion.

In terms of trading strategy, the rules were much harsher back in 2022, with time limit and minimum day requirements, I traded 15m with more positions to get through.
Now the rules are more relaxed such as no more time limit.

Lynnc has just passed recently and may be able to give you some tips under current rules.

I now trade both personal and funded accounts

Full of interest I have read this thread, have implanted The indicators,
and documented the advice I received.

Since this thread has been running for years, and I am going to read from page one and take stock and write down the necessary advice and tips it may take a while before I have really struggled through all the pages.

Having said all that,
I am missing a well defined clear plan.I am someone who does like to read a format, a plan in clear terms and go from there.
This is not a requirement but it often happens that way, left and right I pick up the tips and advice but some things I do not fully understand.
I am not an absolute beginner as I have been with Forex and MT4 for 10 years,
unfortunately not in one piece, but in parts and with years of rest.
But for the first time I now have the time and confidence to actually start trading with a real account.

My question concretely then is;
is there somewhere a clearly defined plan that can be downloaded because if I said so I can find valuable contributions here and there In the messages, well the whole clearly defined will surely be posted somewhere because I see several People asking for it.
I ended up on page 5 of this thread , this topic “Trading made Simple”
And there are 7394 more to go.

Great minds intelligent people often lack the ability to put their knowledge and insights into words such that those who come into contact with it for the first time cannot understand it.
It is difficult when you yourself are deep in it to write it down in such a way that the beginner can get it right from the start.
Could someone get me started with a clearly defined strategy,
especially the entry point and exit points and considerations.
Should I have absolutely missed this written plan while it is abundantly clear for Everyone to find then I hereby apologize,
I'm not that familiar with this forum.

You should be using the indicators provided by the OP in post#25 and want to progress to advance level trading.

Then all the additional indicators and expert advisor will be useful to help you.

the last time I traded a $10k funded account was in 2015. I posted that project here.

I understand your financial situation therefore you can start with $10k and trade SMART MM and you can turn that $10k to $50k.
In 2015 it took me about 30 months to turn that to $50k with conservative risk management 3% per trade.
From $50 k to $200k would be a breeze with TMS_EVO_IX.

It will take about 500 trades trading once a day and grow a $10k account to $50k. You trade the same PA setup every day with Risk Reward 1 to 2. Follow simple rules for entries and exits ... Big E post #2617

Here is the simulation model using just one currency pair.

However, in real-time market trading, you can trade 3 to 5 setups a day simultaneously with different currency pairs. This can shorten the overall time to grow $10k to $50k.

Do you have the patience to wait 1 to 3 years to see the end results.

Thank you for sharing the simulation model. I fully understand the importance of patience in this journey and the long-term commitment required to grow a $10k account to $50k.
I am well aware that this will be a long process, and I am prepared to stay resilient throughout the journey. While I’m not at the $200k level yet, I appreciate the guidance and hope to reach that stage one day with patience and dedication.
Only I have a question regarding risk management within prop trading, particularly considering the 10% drawdown limit. Given that risking 3% per trade provides a relatively small margin for error, would this approach be sustainable in the long run, especially during a potential losing streak?
Additionally, as account sizing increases with profits and the prop firm provides more capital, I would like to understand how to adjust risk management in this context to ensure consistency and protection of the account. I hope I didn't say anything stupid, please forgive me in advance.

Welcome to the TMS thread. I have previously summarised the TMS rules into one post #125164

TMS method utilises a few tools and elements and each have their distinct roles in trade planning and execution according to BigE’s posts.

For instance I am using 4 elements.

1. Previous highs and lows —> determine market condition and trade plan
2. Trend —> long or short term bias, SLTP setting
3. Type of Rejections —> confirmation and get ready for trade execution
4. Previous highs and lows —> Trade confirmation and execution

Each has their own role in trade decision, building up the understanding of current market context to plan a trade. BigE checked the charts at specific time of the day and analysed the market at the spot. If the trader is consistently trading one or few instruments, the market condition is somehow already known, and can further pick only the concurring TDI signals and increase odds of winning at the same time reduce chart time and confusion.

There is more to learn when we share and discuss Trading Made Simple in real-time live market conditions. There is more to learn and gain experience trading live rather than posting very old charts going back more than 12 years. The OP is no longer here to answer your questions when you quote his posts and 304 charts.

Good to know that you have trading for 10 + years. The OP had made it clear that this thread is no for beginners and new traders. Most members here today are only 3 + years and do not have that experience which the OP would consider to be intermediate+ .

Let me start with this below and you have to Options:

TMS is not a system it is based on the 5-Method which is Price Action trading methodology. You therefore you need to add your own Money Management strategy and develop your own system. Your trading psychology is another subject matter not talked about much.

To succeed you need to develop yourself to become a rules-based discretionary trader like the OP.

Why do you keep on misleading people here using the OP' chart in his post #4488 which dates back to June 2011 ... which is more than 13 years ago.
You still have not read the OP' old thread and how the Big E traded his 5-Method with Stoch added and then adding the TDI as his helping indicator. You are here providing disinformation and misinformation making them fail and when they lose money you will lure them to your scam website and to buy the trading courses there.

In his old thread, the key element is Price Action and Support/Resistance ... that is PA+SR

The second element is the Stoch(8,3,3) which he took from Craig Harris' Natural Flow Forex system

The last element is the TDI which he took from Dean Malone' Synergy trading model.

There were other elements which he had tested but did not continue with.

Those elements are just the basic forex trading stuff which the OP with his 15+ years of 5-Method price action trading consider them as basic stuff in his post #647.

Your trading style has nothing to do with the OP' 5-Method. By simply adding a TDI onto your charts and posting them here does not make them legit TMS 5-Method trading. Any reversal trade at key support and resistance levels will look like your interpretation of TMS and is misleading people.

You are one of several online scammers here in the last 15 years. Those scammers have called-out by older members here and now I call you out.

with you prop firm DD 10% limit you need control every trade risks and manage your exits during the qualifying period.

Big E' posts #557 and #7555 are his simple exit rule. Trade Position Size is very important when your DD limit is 10%.

there are other conditions too which you need to consider.
