Swing High / Swing Low were explained in those video tutorial posted by the OP in his old thread.

Prop Firm accounts tends to have bigger slippage than ordinary brokers. I have been trading with the same prop firm since 2022, and slippages of 10pips is not surprising to see at rare times.

My solution is to have SL and TP planned to be >20pips to validate a trade setup and enter. This way you either trade with higher volatility, or timeframes. In TMS, SL is at previous high/low

Another way is you manage trades as the TDI forms patterns of TMS setups. For example, you can refer to BigE’s favourite setups of TDI retracing from 32/68 levels for entry as well as exit. Then you can choose to execute trades at market prices and not setting a SL/TP.

that prop firm is well known for that kind of filling limit and stop orders before a big price move, your orders never got into the market and you were trading with your broker

and @lrn2trade23' trade was not caused by slippage.

stop providing disinformation and misinformation in this thread promoting prop firms and how good they are.

thank you for your detailled advise. I still have a lot to learn. Particuliar on day like today where market sweep bothsides what you win on one you give back on other if you can not control your emotion,greed and fear. I wonder and like to hear how ppl trade fix and permanent on the HTF like H1/H4 or trade solely with autotrade mode with TMS_V19_EA doing on this day Fri, NFP, 6 Sep 2024. I like to hear more real experience how these HTF traders really doing today or this week this month

Particuliar with EA I have found some EA, using on same 1 market, and HTF H1, performs differently each month in the year, so trading with mechanic rule, without emotion no key to consistent profit. Then there are EA on demo great, but on real money, totally disater picture,

It is very hard for me to stay in control and not having overlap flash back thinking in short term when market sweep both sides.

Study trading made simple, the more that simple is simply not enough. Not for now

the 32/68 level are also in my mind sub-consciously, they are like the NY midnight opening too, influence my decision when I look through the markets

Hi Irn2trade23,

You can read through BigE’s posts in the TMS method as he has explained how to use the price actions and indicators to trade TMS method.

TDI signals retracing from 32/68 I use it for both entries and exits. When combining with the other price actions like previous highs and lows from post #647, you can have a better plan in where to anticipate an entry/exit. I use the combination quite often

You should read all the OP post and study his chart closely on the 32/68 levels.

those 32/68 levels reversal dont work well in certain market type conditions.
The OP know the 32/68 levels very well and he was trading M15 chart back then.
On 4H, Daily and Weekly charts, it is more important to study the Price Action and how the TDI Volatility Band and Market Base Line responds to the big picture Price Action.

Take the OP advice in all his posts, and in his post #119 and stop trading those timeframes below 1Hr.

More important is that you learn the 5-Method and master that, then you will agree with the OP post #2617 and you will achieve higher success .
When you have mastered his 5-Method, then develop systems with your own Money Management strategies. Forget about that prop firm. @tommydoginti has been lying in this thread about trading prop firm account.
When you can show that you can trade a $200,000 account and make consistent profits for 3 consecutive years, then there will be FFAI funded accounts to trade with.

I would like to start by thanking both of you for your advice. Emmanuel, for being a reference for everyone (or almost everyone) here in this wonderful topic, and Tommy for responding to my question (I remember asking him the very day I joined this thread).
What happened since then is that I ended up failing the second phase after having passed the first one, my friends. Personal issues affected my trading, and I wasn’t wise enough to step back from trading until things were resolved. Unfortunately, I failed and received that cold shower. I was $50 away from passing the Verification, and then everything fell apart. As I told Emm in a PM, giving up is NOT an option. I will succeed in this market, and hopefully, one day, I can help others as you both do for us.
Just a humble request: let’s strive to maintain unity and respect for all members here. Everyone is trying to help, and I believe Big E wouldn’t be happy with these situations. It saddens me too because you both make money with this. So, joining forces and guiding us in the right way would help everyone here evolve even more. It’s just my opinion, so please don’t take it the wrong way.

You want to passed FTMO challenge, it is very simple and easy. You need to master Big E 5-Method and have achieve what he said in his posts #557and #7555.
@tommydoginti has not achieve that yet so he is just lying in this thread.

You do not need prop firm and I have said this many times.
When you can trade a USD10,000 and make $500 to $1000 per day, there will be other 'funded account' to consider.

Getting back to trading, I prefer to wait for the news to be over and the h4 candle printed, took this on m15 because of the size of the candles. Take profit on the second trade is at 1.36027. I have now moved my stop loss up to where the last one came out as its now evening time for me and I'm finished for the week.
