When trading GBPUSD 15-min charts, here is a tip from Big E:

When Craig trades his swings he waits for the first reversal candle to close and then enters on the opening of the second candle. His goal is 20 + pips per Trade. (See the Numbers and Entry videos which shows you what he aims for.) He always trades with a stop loss. His stop loss is at the (top or bottom) of the 1st reversal candle. As he states on one of the videos... if it doesn't go a minimum of 20 pips and reverses on him... he will let the stop loss take him out. At that point if stochastic lines up with the next swing... he doubles his lot size and enters that next swing. He normally makes his loss back plus extra pips. If the second trade loses (which isn't often), he goes back to normal lot size on the next trade. 99.9% of the time he has a winning days with very, very, very few losing days using this method/secret. So his rule: If I lose a swing... I double up on my lot size for the next swing trade. Very Important!

GU. Sell at pullback and TP just below range (previous) low.

1) If price should go up in news, liquidity grab likely to happen to take out Buyers SL
2) If price should go down, then TP would be hit upon breakout

Hit TP before news. Now off for happy Friday.

Such an obvious NOT sell on H4! I don't see how you can possibly achieve "over all I will come out positive". That is, unless you plan to hold the sell through some drawdown as you wait for this up move to be a RALLY to be sold on the MN1 TF.

Simply following BigE's Trading Made Simple. Simple entry and exit rules

Considering the few elements instructed by BigE. Enough to made decision for the trade with high odds of winning.

1. TDI green red line
(#647 PA analysis)
2. Previous High/Low
3. Rejection at previous High/Low
4. Trend, long and short term

1. Cross down
2. Price retest previous high and resistance.
3. Rejection from range high
4. Range & Before news.

Adding crap EAs does not help improve your trading. Set and forget SLTP you can maximise your odds and profit with your analysis. Trust your analysis as a TMS trader

The thread of this specific discussion is GBPUSD. So why did you include in the last post the H1 US30 cash chart????? Do you think that you can guess what GBPUSD will do based on the US30??

Starting out you should be 60-65% successful. Within 1 to two months you should be 70-80% successful.. IF... you follow the simple rules and simple exits... 3-6 months... 85% successful. Don't complicate it... keep it simple. Buy your wheel barrow..

Beautiful friday.

When I first started, it was a legit chaos. I was a literal dummy looking at the screen have no idea what's going on and foolishly trying to ''hop in the train'' just like everyone else is doing, so called ''crossover,trend,joining the direction'' trading.
Now I understand, It should be the opposite, well maybe at least that's what works for me.

Sell High Buy Low, lol, but with patterns.

tommydoginti, just wanted to say - great job persevering and succeeding in Big E's method, a jewel in this (unfortunately) pile of crap thread so keep 'em coming! Very inspiring!

It is so refreshing to see this after so much crap and misrepresentation, it's really disrespectful to a guy that was a proven successful trader and only wanted to help.

For example in another thread that somewhat "builds on" on TMS I saw the OP showed a chart which whipsawed and then "explained" how TMS would've failed there because of taking each signal and whipsawing- and Big E himself said that he has the patience of Job and looks for the best setups only, but people will be people and mostly talk out of their ass.

So again, your posts are so refreshing, inspiring and at the same time honoring Big E and his effort here.

Any chance of you going up a TF, to 4H instead of 1H?
