Iīm short on GU M15. We got some strong res. lvl on H4 & H1 + beautiful rejection candle on M15. Probably not the best setup again... Letīs wait and see how it develops.

GU M15 short again.
- double top at H4 & Daily S&R level
- strong bearish impulse + pullback to the previous swing low + strong rejection candle
- I decided to enter the trade per sell limit order to keep SL tight.

XAU Sep04 4Hr

- what I saw was a 4Hr rejection of the previous Daily candle

- was late and did not manage the entry at the 4Hr candle open

Hello traders. First friday in the month is NFP day, so no trading for me. Want to take time to analyze some trades and backtest a bit.
I thought itīs not a bad idea to show a few examples of the importance of higher timeframes and trades which are better not to trade. Here is an example of a trade I personally wouldnīt take. GBP/USD breakdown:

1.The first chart shows GU M15: It seems like we got a bullish breakout of the range + Pullback to the previous swing high + rejection candle. Seems tradable no? Letīs take a look at the higher timeframes.

2. H1 chart seems very bullish too (strong bullisch breakout candle out of the range)

3. H4 chart shows perfectly why itīs not the best idea to buy in this area (strong resistance zone just above/at the potential entry point). Do you really want to trade into this zone?

4. Daily chart speaks for itself. Previous swing low as resistance level.
