This article I saw yesterday indicates that it's intervention again. Basically, the BOJ is under pressure from the government and pretty much everybody else in Japan to increase rates, they don't want to because they want to ''protect the economy'', so they intervene again like they did a few months ago to try and prop up the yen and then turn around and say ''look the yen is recovering, we don't need to increase interest rates''. When anyone asks if they're selling off foreign currency reserves they refuse to comment. I don't know who they think they're kidding, or why they think their intervention will work this time around, but the fact that they're doing it suggests that they're not planning on making any rate changes next week.

The only indicator is inside my brain. After years (many nights dreaming about them) looking at charts, they started becoming so obvious that now I see them everywhere!!
It got to the point where I cannot get rid of them altogether.

EU and Gu are still at support, one could say that pa does not match price at strong resistance/ support, there are no reversal patterns or anything like that apart from Dxy rejection of macd signal line on the D1.
It's a gambling matter, no one knows, Pce will shed some light on it if you know what I mean.

More important than the patterns alone is pa and levels of resistance and support.
You need to bring everything together.
That one posted 1 min chart is supposed to retrace little and then price should continue higher.
That is the kind of thing I teach people about. Not only recognising them but then bring them together with other analyses.

For those of you that find the 10EMA/20EMA system useful, I am including a fantastic indicator that shows the 10EMA position relative to the 20EMA in all time frames in real time (Top left on the attached chart). You can use it for multiple currencies, but if you want it just for Gold like I have it, I am including my preset file.

With some flying time looking at this indi, you could scalp just from it, without a chart. I am not kidding... I have done it successfully just for fun.

Example: The M30 light is Green and the M1 (or M5) light is Red. You can Buy when the M1 turns Green. Close when it goes Red. If you like M5 scalping better, then use that as your trigger.

Once you get used to it, it gives you a perfect trend picture in all time frames.

When i trade any JPY pairs i call it riding the dragons tail (heard someone call it this once) I can be exciting and thrilling making good money but have to be vigilant for the tail (aka dumps) that can sling you off and leave you beaten and bruised lol.
