Short AU.
I liked the look of 30m line chart pull back to resistance.
Will it work, who knows, but you have to take them. SL is tight at 2pts. TP +24 so worth a go.

today's data basically calculated from LAST week's data & also 2TD back. hard to explain. simple stuff once you get it. took me approx. 2 years to really get it. lol
once you see the open and have calculated all the R/S areas using as many calculators as possible ...you'd be surprised on how easy $SPX targets are. just have to stay focused -- have CALENDAR in your own handwriting -- all the data & @ side the daily spreads [H-L] and then the WEEKLY spreads ...along with the "OPEN" sheet calculations being squared -- and see the CORRESPONDING #s / #price

thanks ... but right now I found the S&P forum... not used much...but will go there from now on.
anyhow -- this is the latest for this week on S&P 500 -- data + calc. from .272% - 1.854% ... easy to do + many more systems. took me awhile to figure out how SPX works. I ignore the news aka garbage (to me) and just concentrate on the #s / price in front of me and look @ #cycles.

I know this is the forex area -- haven't played / traded forex .. yet...used once WizeTrade -- wasn't for me.

Good morning everyone,

As I posted earlier, I've been backtesting the no indicator system manually using an emulator. At this point, I've gone through 18 months (2022/01-2023/06). I've been testing only one FX pair (GBP/USD), my SL was often more than 10 pips, I didn't use breakeven (but I'm planning go through all my trades to see whether going to BE would have been more profitable), and TP is always 7,5R. Here are some numbers from my calculations:

The amount of trades: 200
The overall gain: 139,5 R
Overall gain money-wise: from 300 EUR to 951 EUR (+217%)
The worst month: -6R (2023-01)
The best month: +33R (2022-02)
The average monthly return: 7,75 R
The longest losing streak: 9 losses in a row.

For me, this is a great motivation. I'm waiting to see how it goes when trading in real-time, but I hope that I will make even more reasonable decisions and my chances won't decrease much. And to make this post more appealing, here are a few recent winning trades. Have a nice weekend!

- it struggled a little but that normal when you look left you see previous 4H candles and SnR

- just needed some buyers to support the push higher

- breaking 2364 would be good to close this week with bonus money in the bank

XAU Friday NFP candle

- getting out before NFP is usually a good idea when day trading

- because it is impossible with small SL to survive the volatility

Thanks for sharing this way of trading.

To learn the system the right way I would like to know exactly the way of drawing S/R lines from the line charts.
While reading and exercising I got puzzled. Maybe someone can clearify..?

Starting from D1 is the easiest part; I take the highs and lows but leave out the inbetween hick-ups (correct me if I'm wrong). Then, according to the description, I go to H4 and only finetune the S/Rs from the D1,... OR do I add new lines as well (probably those that I called hick-ups within the D1)????

From $4 I shift to M30 and the same question occurs; do I finetune the H4 S/Rs only,.... or do I need to add new ones as they are shown within M30......???

Read the very first post again. It says adjust the lines when working your way down from D1 to H4, from H4 to 30M.
If you will add lines on every timeframe, you will end up with too many lines. Keep it simple.

I follow post#1 and draw those SnR with different colours

Daily - red
H4 - dark green
M30 - dodgerblue
