Morning all! BoE day, no cuts today, but what will bet interesting is the commentary and MPC votes. I’m still short however will keep an SL in place in case it’s hawkish and we spike up. If it goes to plan and we are slightly dovish we could see a move down to 12550-126.

Yeah, it's one of those regular but easily forgettable events. I put it in my personal calendar for each quarter, just so I get a reminder the day before. Have noticed that often IF it does affect the PA, this occurs the day before, not necessarily on the Friday. Traders liquidating positions to prep for Friday.

Just checked the last 4 times it happened with just AUDUSD. Nothing in particular seemed to occur, so I'll probably just continue on as normal. But I will be interested to see if you trade anything specific tomorrow that you think was affected by this event. Best of luck, sounds interesting

Oh yes, what I said about GOLD being the leading instrument was based on experience. As we can see, GOLD is already UP there waiting for GU to join in. I plan to BUY GU as well. However, just a bit lower. Not asking a for NEW LOW or something. Even with me saying all of this, soon as I see a PA confirmation on the buy, I will join in.

Been holding NZDUSD buy since last week at 615 (bought some lower at 612) and till now that useless pair isn't even moving. It keeps coming near my highest entry but I have refused to close until EU hits 0770 which should also drag it up. I stopped trading that dogshit since many years ago but decided to give it a try. Even with good GDP data it couldn't move. How do people trade that turd?
