Did anyone see a move up a few seconds before the data announcement? My screen showed a spike up of around 30 pips just before 1.30pm

Actually the data isn't that bad for the US$. Unemployment up but proportionately less than the rise in unemployment in the UK. Also producer prices are coming down which paves the way for 'talk' about rate decreases this year.
At best the data is neutral and the reaction overdone again!

Nope didn't see that and could have been your broker, what I saw was an initial small thrust downwards then spiked up from 2767 to 2807

...much like today's price action's relationship with the Asian hi and lo, but in the opposite order,- so far this week we have had first a 1st false downside b/o of last wk's lo, then second, a 1st false upside b/o of last wk's hi. So not much progress made by price so far this week in either direction, but 107% of 13wk awr traveled so far this week.

PA hanging around the 12780 area. Even with data coming out Red, this didn’t break above 12810, maybe we will see a drop to 12750 later.. not sure tomorrow Friday nothing major on the calendar either. Half a temptation to take a hit and swing long as BoE might not do anything that could effect the election

looks correction happened in full depth for the day . limit 2768 broken but intact 2748 and bounce likely ! lets see
