I thought people are entitled to opinions and active discussions are encouraged? Does the above mention remarks did any help? Some might be happy enuff to sell so that they could buy back...

I assume the transformers movie was more pertinent to GBPUSD than a 14 month reliable trendline and current trend direction of the pair in question?

Or perhaps the thread is only meant for people with < 1000 post count, opinions not entitled to those with above? Or what was your point?

Either way, I know what mine was. Trend is up, selling is more hazardous than buying, spots to buy at clearer, places to sell from not exactly apparent from the quoted post and no current small timeframe setup apparent to me on my 1h and 4h charts.

I know it's annoying to have someone actually try and post something helpful in between all the funny pictures and quibbling, so I'll try to reduce it to a minimum in the future.

Hi guys!

I went to a doctor today and I opened my charts just 15min ago. I see I missed long brakeout in GPU/USD and short brakeout in USD/YEN...
Too bad but we will have a lot of oportunities to make money.....

For my part I see cable struggling to reach above the recent price pivot after a daily pin off the rising trend line at 23.8 fib.

Price currently struggling around the April high.

Current price is indeterminate but given that we are witnessing a long term bull trend, a medium term bull trend and a short term bull trend, I suspect it more likely that the pivot will be broken to the upside.

People mentioning the UK PPI report today are correct in saying that we should have seen a move down in cable. Today however there has been alot of selling the $ across the board which may account for cables rise. I believe techincals have been GBP bullish as well which contributes to price rise.

I myself am next going to short cable next when I see a good entry as I believe that cable will drop back to 1.99** area. This inflation report is showing inflation has been brought under control and BOE do not need to raise rates again.

CPI report will be important later this month as this will confirm wether BOE has got inflation under control.

Remember that at the moment cable price action is mostly about USD and not so much about the GBP part. Selling cable is almost like just buying dollars. And the USD is in big trouble this days. I'm still long cable.

If g/j is around 249 I expect g/u to be over 2.0160......seems like GBP is very very strong today.

I'm short cable, based on a failed (so far) sustained break of the 2.0160 level. Tight stop 2.0175, first profit 2.0056 area. Let's see what happens.
