...I'm not sure anyone would have put money on price breaking upside of Friday's hi after it broke downside of Friday's lo this morning, but there were some good candle closes to get long from the current dly lo (2694,) particularly on 15min+...the 4hr also printing a bullish piercing pattern close off that lo. Current dly hi challenged that prev 1hr/4hr/minor dly sw hi zone that extends up to last week's 2801 hi, (where Wkly R1 is situated this week.)
High chance of a dly bullish close today now.

Every day this week we're getting high impact news from US and if they keep coming to the soft side 1.3 is in play this week. All price action will be driven by the US side. It kinda looks like a perfect storm for the GBP if the US data keeps coming on the softer side. However, holding on to the gains might prove more difficult as we get closer to the elections and the reality of upcoming BoE rate cuts hit the market.

Here's the thing. GU once more at crucial levels only to be decided by the market makers. My bet is on an upward thrust. I will not get into a contrarian sell at this point.
