I hope you know GU hasn't gone anywhere today? Yesterday's high and low are intact. Price is cycling here and it's expected to at least retest 2600 area. When it breaks and close above 2710 then you can speak of more highs.

I would say "Why should it be fundamentally strong?" i don't see any good news for the dollar in the past 2 weeks. There were small and shallow USD counter-attacks occasionally but most of the important fundamental data left USD with a poor hand. Last time i remember USD getting a good data was NFP 14 days ago.
