Leon, you got a sell signal on April, 02 so it surprised me that you lean to the long side 3 days later b/c you are a long-term trader (24 trades still open)...I just checked your recommendation because you are an expert on EW and HP. It didn't go your way, although.

Definitely, I encourage questions but some folks seem to find it as an attack on them, still if they can't justify themselves they will just call you names and say that you can't trade even though they have no idea how other's trade...

CPI getting closer
today had a very good day reloading longs on cable and scalping oil
did not post was too lazy

have to improve my exit on cable trades. I leave a lot of money.
on oil I’m far better both on entries and exits.

could not trade the whole week.
indeed will now wait a good setup.
well, still holding 2 longs on cable fgt 2675 but doesn’t seem really going there before day ends. Maybe tomorrow

yes and uj teleported straight to 152.70

but also the opposite… a very low cpi could make market believe we are definitely going to tight rates very soon so , cable straight into 1.29 area and uj kicked back to 147

Speaking about uj, the Boj will certainly intervene if the weakness in jpy causes damages to their economy.
But I personally don’t expect them to just fuel market with Fanta trillions billions bidding the jpy to pump it up.
It’s just not their way imo.

if they are going to do, market will know in advance.
of course, price is resistance so buying now could mean you get trapped if big positions long liquidates price will dip down 100pips like nothing.

big resistance needs big reasons to be broken.

There is a gap on GBP Futures market (symbol - 6B), which are tradet on CME, which is centralized exchange. You can see it irregardless of platform.
Simutaniously there is a bigger gap on FX aka most liquid and decentralized. Some brokers don't show gaps at all including weekend gaps, for example OANDA
How this happens is a ''mystery''

But if one knows what liquidity (DOM) really is, not a distorted and blurry concept with lines at random highs/lows, invented by bloggers - all clear
