Exactly. To me it looks like recession risk is at the door so central bankers use extra caution. They do everything as dovishly as possible so they don't spook the markets. With China, Japan, UK and Euro Area in and at the edge of a recession, central bankers try to avoid deepening the situation.

It shows how obscured your perception of trading is. Whether you trade .01 lots in dollars or .01 lots in your own currency it means the same thing. If I can afford to trade .01 lots in dollar money I will only trade .01 lots for every $ 300 invested. Trade setup I'm looking for: if Cable drops to 1.2615 tomorrow, it provides a good buying opportunity for a trade to 1.27 (which I would expect early next week).

I expect range bound trading until next Friday where we get PCE and probably a big swing with end of the month rebalancing which could be significant move in terms of pips as its end of the quarter as well. Last day of the month is also the only risk for a bigger leg lower as we started this week with GBP longs close to extreme, however I some of the longs were shed off following BoE.

Keep in mind the 10yr Treasury yield doesn't have much upside potential limiting any USD gains in the coming days. If PCE show cooling, Yield on the 10yr likely to plunge back to 4% boosting all pairs vs USD.
