Yup its true. Todays it is buyers money, the next time it will be an event of either sellers money or again buyers money.
But the traders edge is mostly based on a pattern recognition, the only thing he can rely on, while not expecting same outcome.
So in todays case, downtrend external structure intact, trade in favor of that. Buyers get trapped while sellers win. Couple weeks ago, in the uptrend sellers money get trapped while the upward external structure intact, and in the end buyers win.
The tool we left to play with remain structure.
This pattern repeat on itself irrespective of uptrend or downtrend or pair.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

Dear Leon, you shouldn't be shocked. You brought up Pat's (allegedly) post from 2012 or so.
Here, is my EW, HP analysis especially for you. Sure you know all about it. Note that HP can go outside of the range.
