Made a little research abt the expectations on FOMC. Generally, market expects 3 rate cuts, a total of 75bps. So a dovish, 3 rate cut dot plot wouldn't affect the markets too much imho. It's already priced in. I don't expect any more dovishness than that. On the hawkish side, i think it's possible to see a 2 rate cut or less. The hawkish path seems open. Not so much opportunity on the dovish side since it's already priced in. I think this picture favors dollar bulls. There will be spikes to both ways, but in the end i don't see a bearish trend starting...

If Powell said something about Liquidity might be the driver other than rate dot plot, since it will be the first meeting after BTFP ends.

Another data in focus, if CPI and GDP projection.
Lower or Higher than last Economic projection figures

Buy FTSE at exactly 4.29pm and 50seconds. You get paid the dividend but your buy position will be upside down so when it drops a few more points you add more buys then hold to fill gap. sometimes you need to hold overnight but itsa great trade once you understand it

Good point!

CPI and GDP projections can cause big moves if they are changed significantly from the last FOMC. Thanks for the heads up man!
