I do agree that no one should buy books & courses & signals from "gurus". I never spend a penny on them and likewise i advise others that they shouldn't spend a penny on them either. We cannot trust people we see online. Good advice to the newbies there

However i disagree with the fundamentals part. Ofc that depends on what do you mean by longer term. I see fundamentals doing their thing and creating swings on d1 and h4 timeframes. We saw it on GU in the last couple of weeks. After the PCE report is released, we saw GU, EU rally.

I don't want this to turn into a technicals vs. fundamentals discussion though. From my 6 years of trading experience i saw both of them has their own uses and they are both important. So i cannot separate one from another.

Hi, nothing special.
I also started with just trying to guess which data will be the main mover of the day.
Do subscribe to news outlet like Financial times, Barrons, WSJ and so on,
They post estimates, preview from analysts. Not so expensive
Next level of the economic data is Bloomberg terminal/Refinitv Eikon/Factset/.
Little bit costly, but in the end, enable you to execute your edge flawlessly. (cost of doing business)
Based on my UJ buys, USD will not be the only main driver,
Even tho i said counter fundamentals, but yesterday Japan GDP missed implied BOJ will not raise any time soon.
Wipe JPY gain.
UJ will go up with a higher probability.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!
