Just glad the US is going onto daylight saving time this weekend and only 3 more weeks until we come off it here. No more ridiculously late nights, 2.00am for NFP on Friday, waiting first for NFP then for equity markets to open and do their thing digesting the NFP data. Did think they would sell off, but it was also contract rollover from March to June contracts for the indices. Triple witch on Friday this week coming, so may be some volatility in all markets on Thursday.

Going Short little Bit Risky, I will wait to trade Scalp buy at A to B with intact Upward Structure (However, it worth noting that The swing starts to overlap which is a sign of weakness to a trend in Indices and Commodities)

Many Economists and Banks are expecting CPI to be Sticky, and some are even expecting it to come out 3.2%

Lots of drawdown from Friday's news but the downward correction is still inevitable. Price will return back to 1.2750 area.

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame is in a bullish mode. As the technical impulse favours bulls more than bears, we may still see further northward move in the early part of the week.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Inter-relationships between the currencies/charts. Things to watch....

GBP and UJ (mirror reverse images of each other). Notice the ma crossover happening on the 4H UJ chart. A nice cable entry long would be around the 61.8 fib @1.2745 if it gets there.

EURBGP cross looking like it thinks it has a double bottom here on the daily chart

GBPJPY double top and 2 bear hammers on the daily chart

That said, it's early, market is not fully liquid. We'll see how the Europe session plays out.

One thing i want to point to is that the details of the CPI report, rather than the headline number. Like energy inflation + supercore + food + services. Make sure to take a glance on them alongside with the headline number. It will boost the accuracy of the fundamental analysis on nasdaq, dow and other assets. Hope this helps

Inflation Component might print disinflation. (Edit: With which sticky Headline will be a short lived lift in dollar)
Beige book illustrate some cooling prices across many districts and also other prices survey showed sone cooloff.
Service and rent might be a good main driver to print upside tick. With increasing demand for residential real estate and sticky service.

There are signs of a rebound in the dollar and yen. RSI remains depressed. There are also CPI and other indicators this week, and there seem to be many opportunities for upward growth. However, the dollar index started under gap.

Shorts can be fatal in an uptrend and intact upward structure. Even tho, Overlapped swing indicates a sign of weakness (signal) it does NOT confirm a correction is near.
Thats why it is better to sticky to the long side, to reduce the risk of being on the wrong side
