Problem with Nubbie is it's all he does as far I can tell, there is only so much tough love you can give people before their eyes glaze over

On UK ground :
The UK budget is important event for the of the GBP this week.
Poor UK people are hoping for tax cuts before the election, but there might not be enough money for big cuts.
Even though there's a bit more room to spend than before, it's still limited.

The tax cuts might not be as big as expected, and other support measures might be smaller too.
If the tax cuts are reasonable and don't cause problems in the government bond market, it could help the British pound rise higher this week.
But there are a lot of different things that could happen, so it's hard to say for sure.
Election budget, sweet talking and once get elected, reverse the goodies.

On US Ground :


This week, news about how many jobs were added in February.
Before that, look at other economic indicators like ISM and NFIB to guess what the jobs say.

We may see around 200,000 jobs were added, which is higher than what was expected for January.
Optimistic about the US job market ?, but if we go back to adding around 200,000 jobs, it might be better in the long run and closer to what the FED expects.
Jay Pow, will talk to Congress on Wednesday and Thursday.
It's unlikely he'll change his tone to be more optimistic because of recent inflation numbers.
Most probably say they're being careful and waiting to see what happens next, usual Blah blah Blah.
Since we're so close to the jobs report, his words might not have a big effect on the markets.

The US has some important events coming up, US market will start the show on Tuesday.
Today, things seem calm. No need to get the blue pill, wait for tomorrow.

There are a lot of big news stories coming up, especially the US Jobs Report on Friday.
The DJIA US Dollah Index is still around 13000, might start moving more after this week.

This week is going to be tough for the US dollar, and traders need to be careful.
We may see some spike from what sleepy Joe's State of the Union address later.
(I hope Joe will be able to read the script properly this time...)
