I felt something like what you describe was going on after yesterdays US data, looked to be negative to US dollar yet took quite a while before the pump and had to stay up most of the night waiting for it to happen

So the sell off before the pump didn't make any sense to me but just had to accept the PA

has anyone observed massive drop in volatility in forex majors whenever crypto currencies are rallying... January and February range still less than 350 pips...

Now that makes sense, money moving over to crypto instead of forex.
The latest generations are heavily into crypto and would see forex as old

I think there is one major flaw in only minting 21 million Bitcoin, that's not taking into account all the btc lost like the guy in England who's GF threw out his laptop with 300 million bucks worth of coins on it. He wants to dig up the tip to find it but the dumb ass council won't let him lol.
So over time more and more btc is going to disappear....

That's all good, which means the value of Bitcoin keeps going up due to less supply and higher demand.
They will keep mining though, so we will never lose it all. LoL
Plus, the more Bitcoin is spread out among all the people of the world, the less risk of "losing" large amounts of Bitcoins to nothingness.
You cannot fail if you never give up.

also the very low VIX can be a reason for this historical low range. people see no risk in the stockmarket atm.

I think that guy is dreaming of offloading all the QE debt, but if they did, QT is the opposite effect of QE.
However, I don't see a reason to pivot because rates are painful.
