Hi. Lol, absolutely. I think they/we all know it's a Ponzi scheme, but to admit it publicly will start to erode the very necessary component of the whole financial system - confidence!

If Trump wins in November he has already said during one of the 'debt ceiling' crises recently, that the U.s may as well default, it's going to some time. or words to that effect. Of course this was partly political cause it was whilst Biden is in office. I wonder whether he might so cavalier if he is back in office, and we get another debt ceiling crisis/stand-off? (By the way, I was wrong about him getting in, and Brexit [thought both would never happen,] but barring a catastrophe I predict he won't get back in if he is the GOP nominee. He's lost the independents, [ particularly surburban housewives apparently,] and those that held their nose and voted for him in 2020 probably won't in 2024, particularly if convicted in one of the criminal cases.)

Which is probably why you need an accountant to work out the math. Canada doesn't have a pension income tier of taxation. There are tax breaks for seniors but that is a different beast. It all depends on how much trading income you have and what the tax rules are. The rules that apply to Hoda and his million dollar gain last week won't be the same for 'everyone' in the room!

They have a debt burden that can't be repaid according to some economist and maybe their hoping that if they hold out long enough some of the countries doing really well will fall over?
Or maybe they realise the only way out is hyper inflation, collapse the dollar and bring in these CBDCs

Why do you think the US is so anxious to start a war with China or Russia?
The other option is to admit that they have f----d up their economy and start raising taxes to at least pay for current expenditures and interest on their debt.
No federal politicians in the US will support increased taxation.

... 2 x failed up to 30min attempts to get north of the Asian hi now, with close of this 30min candle in a minute or so.

By the way, I always think the best 'technical' signal we ever get (although not technical in a TA sense,) is when the price is in the top right corner or bottom right corner, and then the chart adjusts to make more room to the upside or downside respectively, lol!
