I mean, indexes are shooting up like it's a retro party back in the early 2000s,

and forex?
Oh, don't even get me started!

Everything seems to be on the rise! DXY, GU, EU... they're all taking turns to skyrocket!

This market is giving me serious "Twilight Zone" vibes, I tell ya.

Someone needs to have a chat with the Best Trader Ever V8.1 and kindly request him to put things back to normal, pronto!

but if u keep on this track one of these days wont be lucky … better to accept losses early …
think like this if u had closed early rather than stuck on these trades you would have made more by picking the bottom…

Because the DOW has been on an absolute rampage, climbing higher than a caffeinated mountain goat on a pogo stick, smashing ATHs left, right, and center! Time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view from the top... literally!

Time to get the Fib Extensions out in such cases:

Dec 2018 - Feb 2020 Saw a 1.414 Ext from Pivot Low over previous ATH, although 'Black Swans' could be said to have gotten involved there (if u believe there is any such thing as a Black Swan to the people who really control all this shit)

March 2020 - Jan 2022 Saw a 1.618 Ext over previous swing high.

Oct 2022 - xxx 2024 currently closing in on 1.272, but showing no signs of slowing down as of yet, and with a positive Jan, whereas the last two years saw a negative Januaries, followed by significant downside.

Gun to the head to guess the ultimate ATH.....42K on the Dow......and then fuck knows what comes after that. 42 is one of 'their' magic numbers. "42 is the number with which God creates the Universe in Kabbalistic tradition"

Yeah I noticed someone screeching about US equities going off the charts cos of elections n shit, but the 64K question is, how much money ya make of that call?

I called the ~29K bottom, SL at ~26K, looking for new ATHs, but made fuck all from it, cos I aint in a position to hold leveraged trades for multiple months. If it were a 4Hr chart however, then it would just be another good trade, with the usual amount of risk and the usual amount of reward.

i captured 200points a day since janauary … coz of the huge swaps i always close the position sameday.. if i had the luxury to hold i would have held positions from january

Looking at the US30 chart (I haven't been paying much attention) on lower timeframes, there have been a few great signals for day trade longs to be fair this past week.

Do you not get paid 'yield' on your US30 position, which should offset the swap on longer term long positions?
