Good old drama starting in GU threadLet it go guys. I came to this forum when I was just 20. Now i am half past my 23 and as my frontal lob grew i realised nothing is right or wrong. I’m not sure what some are talking about since I read only partially previous posts and also I missed som months from trading and market informations because I was busy in other stuff.
I only remember that the Boj spent probably trillions in intervening in Nikkei and Japanese economy which is highly related to their exports (well known fact btw). This, of course, caused also an important weakness in their currency the JPY indeed, which for them is good.
maybe I missed something of course, but I cannot really believe the Boj or the Japanese government is willing to strengthen their currency. Probably they will aid in case of excessive weakness which, atm, is not the case.
the 160 is an important key number and probably would be dumb buying the uj at the 159,80 hoping to see it rising through.
however, when trading you don’t make money with assertions, assumptions and predictions, you make money analysing facts and … trading them.
facts I see are as follow:
1. Trend is up
2. price is trying to stabilise around the 150
3. Previous recent peak aka resistance is 151 and 151.90
4. 4 hours support is 149.60 (previous resistance)
5. Pattern shows bullish flag setup in 4h/day
this is enough to me to keep being in the “ buy the dip “.
of course, at a certain point market will change.
that would be the day when buyers will get a one loss and those selling the flying rocket will finally get their first green trades after a probably multi weeks losing streaks in the attempt to sell a rising price because of …. Reasons
it's always like that in here. There is a downtrend everybody around looking to buy the low. There is an uptrend everybody around to sell the peak. There is a range everybody predicting the most direction in next Xn months.
really, if you don’t want waste your time and money, just start to read things as they are, not as what you imagine.
this said, UJ could be in resistance and fall a billion pips from here.
ok, good. I will wait that day and see how many will be selling it and how many will be around saying, ah no… it is going to reverse , it will come back up.
