Maybe I’m now a scalper. Because I’m changing with the market dynamics.

I’m now long. I secured 520$ profit from the last short after closing out in all the trades.

If it moves in my favor with 15/20 pips I’ll take partials again. That is what’s up!

Then as soon as I hit my target I’m done for the day.

for dow my personal expereince only, most of the volatility comes at two time 9:30 open and after mid nyopen to end n if there is some news it'll impact more just for dow

Not as much as FOMC itself. FOMC is way more volatile. But ofc sometimes Minutes make surprises too

no it doesnt move the market. rest assure u can trade in peace. its just a normal meeting withing the fomc council. on what to expect on the next fomc

I mentioned his yesterday that this event has in the past not provided any fireworks except for once in the last 2 years as far as I remember. We might get a small spike here or there but don’t expect a big move. Remember even FOMC a couple of weeks ago did nothing

Thus as newbie, I would like to put mine as well.

The FOMC Minutes of Meeting are like the detailed notes they take during that meeting.

A deep understanding on the monetary policy stance and hint on future rates decisions while statements is where the actual the interest rate decision are reported in regards to the final votes.

Thats why fomc MOM are sometimes more volatile
If there is no revision or new data does not change much, it will remain calm.
But for today, I see some volitality. Will post some explanation after this

What they capture:
Latest inflation data, unemployment numbers, etc.
Inflation risks, potential impacts on growth, etc.
Arguments for and against different interest rate options.
What interest rate was set and why.
Hints about future rate changes based on changing economic conditions.

Why are FOMC Minutes important?
They offer a deeper understanding of the Fed's thinking and reasoning behind their interest rate decisions.
They can help you anticipate future rate changes by revealing the board's concerns and potential scenarios.
They provide valuable information for investors, businesses, and anyone interested in the US economy.
It's a look under the hood.

NOTES:
FOMC Minutes are released three weeks after the meeting.
They are more detailed and nuanced than the initial FOMC statement.
They offer valuable insights into the Fed's monetary policy stance and future intentions.
