Friday up untill NY news was boring as hell.Had longs in with a couple of others here that were asking .Did not panic with the spike And patience+ more patience 2hours before closing bell longs paid out guru and gold.
Stick to your game plan read the forums BUT don't get confused by everyone & all the info. on FF .Clear Money management,stops in place, fighting FOMO and your initial will bring you greens.

* Neutral < 13wk awr wkly candle close with a < 30day adr pinbar Dly candle close on Friday. The last 4hr close however was a bearish hammer as price pulled back from Fri's 2624 hi.
* Longer-term bears will be frustrated by the demand for the £, and it looks like the new dly t/f range may develop to be 2828-2519 as the 3rd downside break of the old multi-week 4hr/dly 2828-2610 range to 2519, that pulled back to 2687, has thus far failed to see any downside follow-thru south past said 2519. 2535 is now a HL on the dly t/f.
* 4hr too closes the week rangy - probably 2519-2687 it's current range, and 1hr is also messy, but maybe more bullish than bearish as of Fri's close?
* Price @ last wk's 2687 hi has exceeded the 50% of the total recent 2828-2519 fall, and 61.8% of the wk's 2687-2535 hi-lo, and in fact @ that 2687 hi had exceeded the midpoint of what maybe the new dly t/f range of said 2828-2519, which is @ 2673. The next upside fib is 61.8% of last week's 2687-2535 move which is @ 2629/30. This is followed by 76.4% of said move which is @ 2651.

Some talk in this thread recently of how rangy cable has been, and certainly the 30day adr reflects this and is down to 83pips now versus it's longer term 130pips adr. This said that 2828-2519 potential new dly range is still 309 pips wide, so on the appropriate t/f's there are still plenty of good trading opportunities/set-ups/swings, probably and particularly for intraday traders. ADR versus spread erosion is still favorable on this instrument.

Dly, 4Hr, then 1Hr below (NB: re Dly chart -Fri's candle has the broker spread widening so doesn't look like a pinbar exactly, as discussed above.)

Whilst the U.s economy is way bigger than Uk's the market prices the instrument to reflect it's collective view on the prevailing fundie factors affecting both, and their general global macro view in this very inter-connected world we live in. Accordingly, Your continual nationalistic strong $ rhetoric is also way too simplistic/misleading for the nuances of this and other instruments in a complicated financial market. I have alluded to it in this thread before, but there is a growing counter-narrative to the continued hegemony that the U.s has enjoyed/endured, having the world's reserve currency with an increasingly fractured/polarized politics, and huge debt piles that rely on political agreements to continue to service them. Personally, I just follow price, whatever it does.

Another interesting trading day with red news volatility on Friday. So, my prediction for EUR/USD to break out below 1.07 down to 1.06 - 1.065 turned out not coming to pass this week. But, on the contrary, bullish price action seemed to prevail towards the end.
So, maybe next week, we might see EUR/USD rising again, at least to high 1.08s, maybe even up to 1.10.
If that appears to be on the cards during the beginning of next week, then I'm expecting to prioritize long positions for now until bears seem to prevail again.
I now have 4 live accounts above +80% ROI, so reaching level 3 could happen any day now. We still have 9 more trading days in February to reach that +100% goal by the end of the month.
The goal is to upgrade to a new level every month.
But it's ok if it doesn't happen.
It's just more motivating to try harder when you have a goal.

Level 3 = Live $400 - $800
If funds are not available to deposit $200 to start Level 3, then I will trade Level 2.5 = Live $200 to $400.

i posted a historical chart of GBP below ..as you can see its sliding toward irrelevence since thatchers time...i marked that in black ...she got a leadership post in 1975 and became PM in 1979..i marked that in red...both reagan and thatcher fucked their respective currencies when they came to power

the GBP is gona test parity like it almost doid in 1985....its inevitable...the only thing that will avert the decline for sometime is if labor or liberals or whatever party is over there wins in englands next election

conservatives are brain dead fookheads in every country all over the world...its not just in usa and england that they cause misery for their people but they usually start major wars too
