As everyone can see... markets don't give a flying f about a recession in EU, UK, Japan, China or anywhere else if it isn't US.
So, nothing to worry about.

Fed will very probably start cutting rates in May and that's when the PM will finally start going up some, but I believe stocks will outperform PM nonetheless. The best (PM) is saved for last! When economy falls of a cliff and stock market with it, on that day you will know, its name is the GOLD!

Yes, but 125 is holding, look at daily curve, only needs to take 200 EMA first, 12530.
Weekly is kind of reversing and could close green, HL ATM, need a push lower.
Monthly still bearish and LL to previous month candle

Dxi retraced, and heads back up, so fingers crossed no one mentions early rate cuts

True! However, any D1 candle closing below 1.2530 and I'm short and will keep adding on every pullback until 1.215 down there.
I'll trade something else until this pair decides where it wants to go... either break that 1.282 or 1.253.

I think today could be a bull fake out. If EUR/USD closes this week around 1.065 - 1.06 area, it could cause the momentum to shift to the downside during "no news" sessions.
Just a steady landslide to the bottom, and then some.

Isn't the concept of reserve currency obsolete?
Debt and transactions can be valued in any currency simply with an exchange rate. There is no need to use actual dollars or perform actual currency conversions the way there once was.
With China, Russia and more using their own currencies to circumvent various US sanctions, the NEED for the US$ as a reserve currency is even more undermined.
