the interest rate doesnt mean jack shit in auctions its the demand ...if the auction that happens in 5 minutes goes well with same or hier demand for bonds might as well crumple up that article and toss it in the wastebasket

With the 1pm US Treasuries auction, a record was set for yields required to move the notes. Doesn't sound like US$ demand is that great on the debt markets.

EUR/USD and GBP/USD price spiked just now from bond auction. Still dead cat bounce or continuation of short term trend/retrace to mid EUR/USD 1.08s or GBP/USD around 1.27 before testing or breaking lows again?

you cant trade bond yields

you can only trade bonds like TLT or ZB futures so dont pay attention to people that post yield charts or articles cause they talkin out of their ass

look at a TLT chart and every minute the yield changes as the bonds change hands LOL

juast remember bond prices and yields are inverse so bond prices spiked up which lowered yioeld so the people at the auction just made money


they bot higher yielding lower priced bonds and price spiked up hier on TLT and ZB so they made money while dummies scratch their heads clueless
