Hi. Depends on the particular situation. There are times when one is more appropriate/suitable for the occasion than the other. People who only and always just use one, perhaps don't possess the social skills to tell the difference? In so doing they risk being labeled and ignored, and then perhaps their good intent and even good message, will be lost because of the way they communicate it, and the reputation they have fostered of themselves, by being soley one or the other.
