The fed raises rates to support the issue of more debt which increases the money supply.
If when the debt matures, fewer notes are offered, this puts demand on the existing money supply which is what I was theorizing.

A wonderful start to the new week so far. Finally closed all my EUR/USD shorts, and opened a 7th long position at 1.07253.
About time for a retrace back to 1.08+ area.
I have also reached +100% ROI on my #11 Demo account, now replaced by #9 Live. Only 2 more demo accounts remaining.

My total net equity did get reduced a little bit today because I started adding longs early, then price kept dropping while being only partially hedged with shorts.

I agree that the US government has both a debt and a spending problem.

Here is an article about the FED shrinking its balance sheet. Reducing the bond supply is just one way of achieving this.

Essentially the FED balance sheet is greater than the FED spending debt level. It's the difference between the spending (current and past) and the total debt level that can be adjusted.

The bulls failed at 9 pm est on sunday.

Failed again today 9 am est ( monday )

Now, wait for 12 noon to 1am est 4hr candle.

Most likely to reverse.

It needs to retrace/reverse.

A straight 2772 to 2520 is big range. 252 pips.

I do not know what people say...imbalance ?

Yes the FED has been unwinding, they let that debt roll-off, the UK is the same but they are also selling bonds.
But that debt rolling off has to be brought by someone else because the US and UK have government deficit spending...
Either way, central banks are not in charge of money in circulation however you cut it.

Commercial Banks are in charge of money creation. Not central banks.Unless QE is in operation.

The existing money supply already tied up in other investment. Looks how brand new money joining the equities market, making it to reach new highs.

Unless FED starts QT to reduce extra liquidity.
As for us debt, many shouting (i was too) reaching $40T.
But US debt-GDP ratio is still less than 100%
Among G7 i think its only Japan has a debt-gdp ratio >100%
Many economies today are debt driven economies.
If todays economy were a company, long time ago, the latter would need to file for bankruptcy.
But they got printers.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!
