Expecting NFP numbers to be good for DXY so GBPUSD may fall back to lower trendline.
I closed my long as I think its a trap for buyers. Will wait for data now.

I will sell if it breaks and retest.
Or buy 27450, took 3 partcials.
Noon, new key level 27553 if it breaks and retest for sell, on the other hand, maybe enough for today

Now that the BoE has learnt from the US, how to manage their economy using RATES; that makes GBPUSD the best pair to trade! Yesterday we saw an upward and a downward movement simultaneously!

DXY. Still focused on it. Need NEW Lower Low

...that big bullish-bodied hammer close y/day on dly t/f, changed the feel, of things in this 2828-2610 multi-week range that exists on it (and the 4hr) t/f. Upside follow-thru so far today, but it's NFP day...anything can happen.

had to refresh charts and check where we are and what's around
what I see as follow in the h1 chart:


1. IMPORTANT bullish b/o of that level. This IS an important b/o since price was reversing down from there many times. I closed my last long @2753 or so, and this is correct, but atm price keeps going higher since unable to go back lower than 2740
2. above us, there are plenty of important resistances. 2790/95, 2809/12, 2828/30, 2852/55
3. RSI in h1 is pretty overbought clearly saying that bullish pressure so far is strong. Eventually can get down but caution!!! a 20/30 pips and indicator will already be oversold. And as per my experience, an overbought indicator can stay there many days.
4. Important KEY level near 1.2700 where price was in balance in last weeks. Would not be excluding a move back there.

So, this said, I have all my levels for today.
I will not forecast anything, I just don't care.

That is why it is really important to pay attention to what price is doing and less important to rely on any data!

NFP in just over a couple Of hours. Preparing for a good data set (gamble) by removing my 12720 as TP. If the data is bad then I will add I will swing to long. Being Friday though we don’t always have a one way direction

As my stats tell me, pros or whoever initiated that move up, cleared only very few longs yet but some. They hope for weak NFP numbers to spike market up and sell the stuff to the crowd - but forecast of NFP is already lower than last time numbers.

We had no big retrace yet, -on any important USD pair which speaks for high risk from pros today. Not sure what will happen if NFP is better than expected. I think they protect their longs with heavy buyings around 1.2720's in case NFP is good before let it drop again.

Also avg. hour earnings will have huge impact on economic / interest rate site but I don't expect any surprise here. Due to in-sync of NFP numbers today with economic outlook regarding interest rates (NFP Up, Interest Rates fix, no rate cut, USD up) and also economic outlook on economy (NFP Up, USD up) we will have a probably clear direction after news.

IMHO I think they know already datas (NFP) which are weak today... looks like inside buys for me since yesterday after London close (of course it is forbidden but who cares, no one). Risk is too high for longs now without knowing numbers already. Also keeping low 1.2740's had cost a hell of money so I think they know already. I still have quite big short position in the 40's. Let's see how it goes. I think today I'm on the loser side but 1-2 times per year you have that kind of PA like yesterday/today and have to take the loss (but I stay in until it is over today, my system is not allowing me to fold my cards yet).

They sure do have a plan and it's not a good one. I agree with a possible spike before a dump. If it dumps first then 2700 will be defended with full force.

In my data, JPM leading the forecast with majority of its forecasts are on target or closest to target (its forecast deviate by ~18k from actual figures).

I wish they can drive this market up by 30 pips before Nfp. I like closing positions before NFP. My next project is to study the NFP and other major news. For now, I don’t really trade major news and even I do, I use minimal risk and very small lot size.
