Overall one must know the behaviour of gbpusd ( or any pair for that matter ) what it does when asia opens, when frankfurt opens, when London opens.

When NY opens, we need to check daily range achived for that day and if any reversal will happen.

Learning the behaviour of gbpusd ( or any other pair ) comes priority.

Learning one pair is enough for us to book profits daily.

Can we experience big volatility in the last 3 trade days of this January, just a mere 190 pips so far... Minimum January range is 275 pips... And most repeated January Range is 400 - 500 pips. It's been a super slow start to the year, February may provide price explosion... Trade with caution this early 2024 to avoid being caught off guard. One thing is for sure, we may not see this current price again for a long time once price decides to move or break out.

GBPUSD price action on the H4 time frame is consolidating within the 1.27600/1.26100 horizontal channel (red), an area which aligns with the 61.8/50 fib retracement zone of a recent bearish swing. Presently, price action is at the upper part of the channel but technicals favour bears more than bulls.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

i have longs as well from friday was at breakeven .. today bearish open took it a bit underwater... still bias for me is long.....holding but if it goes 10 pips down from here m out....

Hi, New here, noticed how you are using your moving averages and checked the chart myself and could see what you were looking at and why you though was a good buy opportunity. I have been using trading view before but now getting into MT4. I wondering how / what indicator you are using to be able to change the color of the moving average line when they cross ? Along with are you using smoothed or normal ?

My opinion = We could see a landslide this week. Unstoppable bearish slope for like 200-300 pips on EUR/USD before any significant retrace.
