usd/cad ---- quite like the short side ... got in @134.85 just now. SHORT n STRONG - LONG U WRONG just my 3 cents, gonna add if it drops and add if it goes up

That's why I like hedging both ways with the focus of improving net equity during short term volatility. Because you never know what might happen.
It doesn't matter if some trades end up in drawdown and ultimately have to be closed with loss, as long as I can scalp profitably to make up for it and then some.
You cannot fail if you never give up.

youre american so how many oanda subaccounts you have hedging since we cant do that like other people

Currently, I am using 7 live accounts and 1 demo. But I could use 20 live and 20 demo max at anytime if I want to.
In case of extreme drawdown resulting in net loss, I will simply add more demo accounts to my trading roster, then switch them to $100 live once they reach +100%, therefore allowing greater flexibility. That's my contingency plan.
