No pin bar on EURUSD 4hr. Open and close need to be near same end of the bar. Don't see it.

Closest to a pin bar was the bar @ 100am est on weds although it stood out from previous bars, the next bar (500am est) wound up trading up into most of the previous bar so in the end was not really a pin either.

mt4 demo has a pinbar. OHLC = 1.3397 1.3399 1.3382 1.3396

Well if you are talking about the 100am thurs bar ? you don't mention time. TradeStation shows OHLC as 1.3387 / 1.3397 / 1.3384 / 1.3392

But even if the open and close were near to each other the bar does not extend beyond the previous bar's lows.

In fact with my data the 100am bar is an inside bar. Which means the low is higher than the previous low and the high is less than the previous high.

So if there is a definitive break above/below the inside bar then trade the break.

You know the 4hr bar forming now? Well it's the one before that. That's why I said "pinbar just completed", 6 minutes after it finished (12noon my time - GMT+8)
I should say, MT4 demo's aren't renound for being accurate hehe.

Which data feeder do u use? Im using MT4 NF and it shows the same with TradeStation.

Regular old MT4, from the developers I believe. I will get banned for posting a link but go to google, search metaquotes, then hit the first link.
I just opened my NF demo and yes, no pinbar in sight. Only the one 11 bars ago or so. Not sure why metaquotes MT4 is different.
To be honest, I don't care so much about the bar formations, I knew there would be some traffic there, the pinbar just confirmed my thoughts.
I prefer to watch what price does at certain areas as opposed to waiting for bar formations. They are just part of the complete package.

I'm thinking of shorting this pair, but trying to be very cautious. I will probably place a short around 1.9940 or so.
