the similarity of the name of course refers to the first 4 letters "wave"...and from the mass of traders in the cable thread you often read about it quickly.

your content is of course different.

waveskierrob and pat chiko are definitely friends, but different people, i have no doubt about that. i don't really have a problem with either of them, except for the poitical dispute, but i don't really care.

I've learnt a lot from both of them (pat&wave), as well as from you wavegarrick;-)

And yes, intraday the m15 is great.

I also in the past did not use indicators. I lately found they give me a faster view of what is happening around.

Quoting your post again since what follows is correlated.

As you can see in my example, my trade definition begins from reading where price creates possible structures for trend changes / continuations.
I am using indicators in the 1m chart (they are also in higher timeframes but I simply don’t give them much weight- also in my jforex desktop I can hide/show them from charts with a button click), helps me to avoid a very dangerous thing: I had to find a way to avoid buying just to see price reversing down (or the opposite) I simply cannot afford drawdown. I have a problem with it! I mean, I hate to bring the lowest bid price pip on a sell to see action coming up say for 10pips. Hurts my nerves. I mean, happens of course. But one thing is a bit of space between entry and stop loss, another is impulsively entry the trade in wrong timing. I just need to see price being in my favour immediately or at worst case in a very tight range, else it’s a wrong trade and a loss.

so this mine, is a way to solve my problem indeed. I had to avoid the FOMO thing and the impulsive trading, causing me stupid and costly losses.
over the years I had to challenge with these two giant monsters in my mind, and had to move a step back in my learnings and implementing indicators.

So coming to the point, it’s absolutely required to know how to read price action, breakouts, confirmations, engulfing, and so on, but then I had to find a further filtering of my decision making. When I respect this whole, I am profitable. When I don’t, I at best end in small profits or lose back previous profits.

I'm sure 100% there is someone else out there challenging this same matter, so hopefully will find here in these our posts a true definition of a solution

the fact it respects the weekly TL should be noted, but I see huge problems above, price is trapped between a bullish monthly and high res, with 2 potential major lines

Any SMC trader here can confirm if this is correct?
