why did you not take the trade of the first touch of the resistance area? That would have resulted in a loss. Was it due to the poor RR? if not what was the reason?

Hi Shrips,
I waited for the market open, which is one of the rules I posted earlier.
Reason being is just before the open the market can whipsaw.

Placing lines for SR using line chart (close prices) is kind of unique.

Hi Traders,
Shrips asked if I was going to posts any further charts. The answer is yes.
As soon as I am confident there is enough activity in the New Year I will be trading and posting my trades.
The following chart is the 15m EC trade as per the system which I missed, the second chart is the 1m scalp that I took for a 4.75R return.
The message here is that if you miss your trade entry for some reason go on the hunt again.
In the New Year, why not put aside some time to learn more about S&R, you will be surprised of the accuracy of it.

I have been doing some back testing over the break and from the results I have decided to update my pairs list as shown below.
I will be taking trades on 4hr, 1hr, 30m, 15m, 5m and 1m time frame using my system.
I have made some improvements to the system allowing for a greater RR.
I may set up a trade explorer using an old system testing account that has about $750 in it and see how far I can take it over the year. This will be good for the low $ accounts to see what is possible.
However, as stated in my earlier posts "I guarantee nothing" The information I post is just my view.
I am looking forward to 2024 and for it to be a low stress, productive trading year

I was late getting into this trade as out picking up some food.
To start with I was watching the 4hr chart as it was heading up to Resistance / Supply Zone.
I entered trade when I got home at 1.62856.

Hi Eric, Due to the lack of my tech skills I sometimes post the wrong chart or notes and have to edit, that's why chart disappeared for a while.

Had you gone short for GA at the time of EA you would have been profitable too. I know GA was done during Asia session

Hi Eric,
Yes GA would have been profitable also along with GN. I tend to stay away from GN though due to spread.
As certain pairs are correlated I pick one pair that I like the look of (Rejection Candle and Time frame)
Very rarely would I trade GA and GN at the same time
