I risk 2% per trade, but then I over trade, I revenge trade, along with not knowing where it's heading. Then you get a 2 hour sideways move before a continuation. Was that just a top hunt? No it wasn't.

Has the uptrend finished on the daily chart and we're heading lower? Don't know. Has the world finally woken up to the Ponzi scheme that is the US dollar? Maybe. Is the move down in the DXY just a stop hunt or the beginning of a further leg down? Don't know.

I woke up this morning and thought "I shouldn't trade until the new year." Should have listened to myself.

I had taken £50 to £1344 in a few weeks, just risking 2% a trade and targeting 20 pips. but this morning just screwed me up. I made most of it back on its move to 2700, but then thought it was going to retrace to around 2685 but didn't. 2% risk? your earlier post shows -77% on the day, i think if that is something that is able to happen to you, you are doing something wrong.

I understand is painful, i came to understand that what kept me from revenge trades was when i moved to Swing trading, were it takes couple of days to see
a trading signal and was able to mold my mind from there, now i can trade 5 mint without revenge trades.
Am sorry for your loss let's wait till next year and before then we would have had fresh mindset, motivation and strength.

the 15 min momentum is very bullish for GU.

no signs of pullback.

NY open will provide better direction.

Risk 2% does not belong to forex. 2 hours lateral movement is not important, if it does not go below 2697. To go down all TFs must be down, with PA. Keep the profit from 2674, how long possible. Ponzi can sleep, it's a fairy tale for forex. DXY is determined by GU, not the other way around. Simple?
