My grid would usually be placed in time so that it starts from a significant low or high. The time spacings (multiples of 8) are then adjusted to get the ideal number, that is the number that places swing highs or lows at vertical time lines.
Starting the square at a signficant high/low does not mean the 0/8 price line would be at that low. The position of the 0/8 price line is determined by the fractal the high price fits into. Even as we zoom in on a smaller range, this fractal still needs to align with the next higher fractal, so I have no control over where the 0/8 price line will be, it is completely determined by the mathematical division of the price into eighths.

Here's an example where I've placed my 0/8 time line at a significant low and adjusted my time spacings to incorporate the high/lows as best as possible. You'll note that the 0/8 price doesn't start at the significant low, the position of the 0/8 price line is determined by the fractal calculations from the sheet posted above.

Dave the - 2th has nothing to do with a stop loss

Use this way is very dangerous because this represents 1/4 of your grid amplitude

whatever the Fractal of Price you use each time Price moves into a Fractal of higher degree , Price penetrates first (and can stay here some time) into an Hesitation Zone between the 2 Fractals

Let's assume that Price fluctuates within the Fractal 0-10 (Octave = 1,25)

when Price reaches 11, theory says that Price being over now fluctuates within the new Fractal of higher degree (0- 100) (Octave 12.5).

It is the Difference between the amplitude of the First Fractal and the First SRL Support and Resistance Line (0-12.5) of the next Frractal of higher degree which constitutes the Hesitation Zone and explain the +1/8 th , + 2/8 th MML Lines.

As soon Price fluctuates above 12.5 you are sure Price is driven by the Fractal of higher degree. (0-100)

Parisboy & Anyone else that would like to weigh in on this question.

If we take a 200 EMA, applied to Median Price (HL/2) & set levels at 400, 600, & 800 Above & Below the 200 EMA do you see the as a form cycles?

I had already received the views of another trader who I greatly value their views, so now I would like to hear from others willing to share their views.

What I look for with this set up are what happens when price reaches the extreme levels ABOVE & BELOW the 200 EMA. There is always a turn back toward the center, but @ times the turn never reaches the center before it resumes it original direction.

Heres a monthly chart of a Blackrock ETF i hold. Please dont take i t for advice or sure. Just my view on a possible good entry. For ETF`s i assume an overall underlying uptrend so i only go long. Its a simple "Demark" trendline which i think is the same as a VTL but not octave classified. The trendline cuts the the sinwave in halft +/- 10 %.

Speed lines seem to have far more influence on price than parallel lines. All four of the charts I follow are heavily influenced by speedlines.
Additionally, their influence could even be used as an additional explanation for the cause of the MCP (in conjunction with 1/2 cycle dip). You can clearly see how the lines are much denser through the hesitation zone, causing whipsawing price action.

Honestly I have difficulties to manage the charts quickly and efficiently

When published in black on FF I see nothing on the screen of an FF message (my old eyes may be)

Would it be possible to have adjustable color parameters for :

Circle of Conflict
the Horizontal and Vertical Lines buiding the Square.

I do not understand the relationship between the Frame Size and the Frame Multiplier. I just go nowhere with it to include the screen Top and screen Low on the screen.

Is it possible to just get 2 manual entries for the 0/8 Baseline and the 8/8 Line and build the relevant square using these 2 parameters

I guess that's related to my dislike of cluttered charts. I like to keep the lines faint so they don't obscure the price action.
Tradingview will usually offer color change & adjustment options automatically (see my CMA channels indicator) but hasn't done that with the MML indicator. I'm guessing that's because the two indicators use very different methods to draw the lines. I will need to investigate that further if you're struggling to see the lines.

If we select a high and low to calculate the grid we'll still get the same grid parameters we get when using frame size, because as we know, the grid parameters are determined by the fractal calculations. I just set the frame size to cover the area of the chart I want to investigate. If it's covering the high & low you want to include then it'll set the fractal to that.
I did adjust the indicator to add those manually, but this stopped the fractal size updating to the next fractal.
