But I got whipsawed in LTF and started doubting myself.
M5 is so clearly preparing for downwards move.

Correct. I just completed my intraday discipline. After expansions (PPI), there are two types of prices. Either retracement or Reversal. Reversal occurs at liquidity pools either under old lows or above old highs. According to PPI, there are mentions about the Reversal (image). Reversal means liquidity pools above old highs. That's why I'm focused on selling than buying.
