I followed the OP' post #2617 and stripped both Stoch and TDI from my charts after I spent one whole year 2017 and studied all the successful setups like he did.

I developed my own winning system TMS EVO and traded in 2018.

The result was good ... +94% profit in 15 months without the TDI.

This is my conclusion the TDI is not a major indicator and the Op Big E was correct that we can trade TMS 5-Method without lagging indicators like the TDI.

2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

My CONCLUSION

Too much time is being spent on TDI and Stochastics,
Too little time on Price Action and Support/Resistance.
And no time spend on Money Management, Risk Management for entries and exits, When to Cut-Losses short and How to Let Profits Run.
You need to find your WINNING EDGE and the TDI is not in the winning edge equation.

Learn from the OP old posts ... learn to read your charts and your candles ... that's the Price Action ...

its always the same Price Action ... same setups ... when price loses its bullish MOMENTUM then changes direction ...then take the trade

you do these 1,000 times and you will build the confidence to take trades without the TDI ...

the TDI is only your helping indicator < #202 >

Here is a test that Vincent fail every time when asked to do so:

In Post 144,345 this was posted > "managed 123 trades closed and better quality setups"

Ask Vincent to open all Trade Explorers for public viewing he used to get that 123 trade for the whole month of November 2023
(better validation will be to ask for the whole trading year of 2023)

The reason I post Training Charts is so you'll no what to look for... how to recgonize it and where to jump in.

For those newbies go to www.babypips.com and learn about basic forex principals.. I did years ago. It's worth the time. You can do it...

Yeah, I always like it when there is PA confluence, like stop-hunting higher highs, sudden lows, and lower highs, or three lower highs, or below significant swing lows, and vice versa

119 winners and that makes 97% win rate better that the OP #495

I remember you from many years ago. You improved a lot as a trader. Why you cannot be more wise and stop this posting war
I am sure, as a full-time trader you know how hard it is to control your emotions when you are in DD. That's why some traders who are not yet successful come into chat and fight, or at least provoke someone to do something negative. But please remember that behind their posts there can be really painful real-life stories (my own experience), so it is really bad to judge them quickly. I am not saying tekkie is a loser or a winner. He truly knows who he is and what he is fighting for. I just wish you both success and to be honest, wasting time on something negative is nonsense.
There are enough enemies against us as B book or hybrid A-B brokers, market makers hunting for our liquidity cause they can see our positions in the order book (not talking about 2 levels) ... I know trading is a highly competitive game, so the ego is quite an issue. Maybe that's why I see you both still arguing like crazy...
