...108% of both 30day adr and 13wk awr traveled so far today/this last day of trading week. @ current dly lo a prev minor 1hr sw lo x 2 zone from 23rd Nov last, = prev supp = pot supp. Current dly lo will probably become a prev 30min sw lo zone in a couple of mins.

Drop was really hard, I was down almost 10 days avg. return. I closed all with 8 days avg. profit - it was a bit a gamble but the drive was very sharp down. I don't like how markets currently behave. GBP/USD is almost worst besides USD/CHF. Lots of small fake moves and than again long, long drives without even small consolidations. We come also to the end of the year, so be careful, extremes occur mostly in that time.

Waht we saw today was complete crazy and has nothing to do anymore with normal market behaviour. After Datas from US we were dropping hard (correct cause datas were extremely bullish for USD ->Rate hike possibility even more up) than complete turnaround until gap closed (very uncommon for such news) and than drop hard again. For me this is pure market manipulation of the big 4. But they can do what they want, no one gets suet for that.

So rediculous... GBP/USD jumps up on extreme good USD news. Consumer Sentiment exeeced the wildest expactations. Prepare for huge drop on GBP/USD. All on red fundamentally. New rate hike incoming.
I said that already before: We now had already 6-7 figures which show cooling has ended and we get into a new upward cycle on US. That means more rate hikes will probably come. I think january will show cause christmas consume could also be a reason for that crazy bullish US numbers.

...nice big tradable swings on the lower t/f's. Still potential for a falling wedge on 4hr if current dly lo firms up as a fractal swing on that t/f

GU

Made 1st block trade during that crazy news event, and prices were moving like a bat out of hell.
I had to use the M5 timeframe to see what was going on.

Normally, when big news drops and the price breaks out, it usually comes back to retest the breakout level.
Knowing this, I took the first trade when the price hit the FVG. Boom, cashed out at the supply zone, where the initial break out occur on the news event.!

For the second trade, I switched to the H4 timeframe and waited for the price to retest the H4 FVG.
This was basically confirmation that the price was going up, and it gave the market a chance to grab some more liquidity before the big move.
By the way, marked as MSS were the levels where the market started to shift in Nov, where price revisit today and rejected it.

Pretty cool, right?

Hi. Clearly not the way the market sees it at least on it's initial reaction. I think 'soft landing' is the buzz phrase that JP and Yelland/Biden are hoping for. Also that UOM data although red-flagged by this site isn't historically that big a deal.
