I would suggest to avoid giving much attention to the thread starter... Couple of days ago he made a post where he stated he's "available to teach anyone interested", then deleted the post shortly after. Probably just another fortune-seller, he's just waiting for some people to get interested.

Wonder why FF still allow deletion/editing of posts.

Hi Oculus,
I deleted the the post due to lack of interest. I offered to help people, that's all. I advised I was not selling anything and I was not posting trades as a signal service. I have always been a generous person throughout my life and I believe there is nothing better than helping someone along the way when you can. I don't see anywhere in my posts that indicated I was helping people for financial gain. I take it from your 3 posts you are Probably new to FF and yet you have found it important to label me as a scammer in such a short period of time. You really don't know me so please don't judge. Maybe in your time on FF you should take a second to consider that there are possibly some decent people out there willing to help others.

Good thread Island....I like the way you use the line charts... something I have done for many years... Dont see many people
using them...funny as they are the most accurate way of mapping TL's off the closing price..

All the best and forget the naysayers this thread is a breath of fresh air... But they all want fancy indis signals etc

Well, Islandfx, sorry to hear that someone regarded you as scammer.......Let's forget about naysayers.....My analysis for Gold for the following week.....Let's see whether it will break this 1H bracket C. If it breaks above....then I assume it will continue to climb further up otherwise it will drop back to the lower 1H bracket A for further confirmation. Will appreciate if anyone could put forward any further suggestions.....TQ.

Well well well... combing the support and resistance zones from the line graph is definitely going to be insane for me going forward.

Sometimes I get confused where we are going to be heading to next and I have done for so many years at times... but by following the 4HR support and resistance lines it is going to send me to another level in my trading with my entry method.

I basically trade orderblocks and I use a 0, 25, 50 and 100 fib levels on the last up or down candle before a strong move in the opposite direction as seen below.

I set pending order trades on the 25% zone (Green Line) and then stop loss is the spread after the red (100% of fib levels - Yellow pen marks ive put)... i.e 0.5 pip. Take profit is the next zone (white lines).

Just wait for the pullback and let it enter for you... - Note: its usually best when there is a break of structure or change of character.

As you can see below, it is proving very fruitful if you took all these trades on EURUSD on 15m chart.

Found the entry method from someone on YT - (TFWP) but tweaked it a little.

I was going to post this here...but input in the thread I'm normally in..as some may not pertain to the OP thread..but definitely overlap... Line charts etc perhaps it may help someone here with some different views.

At the time you posted the chart it was the Asian Session. During the Asian Session I only trade AUDUSD, EURAUD, AUDCAD, AUDJPY and EURJPY therefore I would not be looking to trade GU.
I'll take a look at GU when the Euro Session starts today.

Hi LT, I use support and resistance extensively with my system for entry and TP. I use CaveManager to place the trade, set initial SL and a TP of 2.3R.
Trades don't always make it to TP though.
I will always go to breakeven on the trade when I can.

So, trade is placed and underway, I then look to see where the key SR levels are to see if I can push out the trade.
Factors that attribute to pushing the TP out.
1. The amount of S/R that I have traded away from.
2. Was the trade a from a Daily / 4hr inside bar breakout
3. Was the market confined to a tight range prior to trade entry
4. High impact news

When I consider pushing the trade out I always keep telling myself "Don't be greedy" It is the best advise I can give you
You can never think there is more because no one knows, you just have to place your trade as per your plan and attempt to be profitable with what the market gives you.
You can only control the system rules. Have no expectation of what the market will or will not do.

Here is my trade from this morning. I was late getting in as I was away from desk. This is a trade that I pushed the TP out as described above. I was able to get 3.85RR even with the missed entry (Arrow) My TP was already know (4hr Support) shown on the line chart. I set TP just above the 4hr support line and you can see I got a great fill.

Seems You sold into the RBA rate announcement. Were You aware of that? I mean, You knew they left the rate, and was it on purpose? Or You neglected the content of news, and just used TA?

Hi LT,
I always check for red news and factor that in to the trade. The system gave a sell signal, I know my risk so there is nothing to worry about.
