ISM Manuf. 'Index will have high impact today. Last time it disappointed a lot, so it was bias GBP/USD up. Today it will be crucial for overview next weeks. If number is better than expected, GBP/USD will drop probably. If better we probably see new highs (>1.27xxx) soon due to confirm of cooling economy in US. So ISM today (because it disappointed last time in a huge way) will be crucial today for GBP/USD. I wonder if they dare to push GBP/USD more higher before the numbers. Yesterday they got hit badly by doing that. So may be we see side action till ISM comes out today. Market is much much slower today than yesterday.

Just sharing. Your perspective is focused on trading from the perspective of a retail trader, a central bank or any other entity that trades with the trading computers. If you switch your perspective to that of a trading computer that has access to all stop losses entered into the market in all currencies and consider that these are very large computers that have been programmed to review the existing open orders and anticipate orders that may be closed or cancelled and orders that may be not entered into the system as a result of trading history. These trading computers have very large liquidity to work with as well. It is a different paradigm. It isn't a 'bad' or evil thing it is part of understanding how the game is played.

I understand your concerns. I just remind on lawsuits in 2012,2013,2016 and 2017 were the big four on forex got sued for manipulating the market (was just few pips) because they pulled all on one string.
Regarding moving all currencies or at least the related ones: You don't need to do this. When I, for example, would buy GBP/USD for 1 billion dollar than all GBP currencies will go up. The reason behind that are the abitrage traders/computers which adapt in milliseconds the quotes on other pairs correlated to the moved pair. Of course you have to pay the volume on other GBP currencies, too but due to abitrage it is sufficient to push the money just on one currency (my opinion) and the other move automatically.

I also think that a "fight" between the biggest 10 players on forex is quite seldom. That has reasons: First: They use similar concepts due to large amount of money they have and ability to move the market. So if one of them see a chance, 8 of 10 probably see the same. When they start to fight it is most times in two scenarios:
Scenario one in directly after news release. It is not always fighting but also position adjustment after being wrong. That's the reason why you sometimes have such an incredible fluctuation here. Not all 10 big players are in sync at that moment.

Second fighting places are extremes: In extremes some of the 10 players have bigger earnings, better averages or whatever. So they are able to push the market further. Other ones want to turn the market again into the other direction to build up a news drive. - that's when the fights start. They try to grab the money from each other. Example: Dump to new low, 2 pips below last low after strong downmove in unter 1 Hour. What happens now is that either the pusher wins and can add more selling power due to his average position from before OR the graber, who wants to create a new up drive wins and is able to win that small battle and the market is flipping back 4-5 pips very fast.

This are the only two scenarios which I know of where the big 10 players really fight each other. Rest is mostly in sync. Else market could never move so smoothly up and down. It is a bit like professional poker players. They know when to fight against each other and now when to take money from market participants when there is to grab money from outside.

Some governments promote digital currencies. Until they come with their own digital currencies those governments will buy BTC probably.

If you follow the US news release by Yellen last week (?), Crypto is going to enter a whole new paradigm. The US is 'going to war' against anonymity and lack of audit trails in crypto as they can be used to protect all kinds of criminal illegal activity. It is just a matter of time before the US forces other countries to 'fall in line' if they want to trade with the US and the so called free market economy. Government crypto will simply be digital currency but it will allow the government to control what you have, what you do with it and to see what you have done with it. Yup, fair point. But at the end of the day, I am a retail trader. I don't try to understand all that because I don't think it matters in regards to the strategies I have developed and are currently developing. I also don't follow the news other than knowing when it's coming to avoid it, and where we were before and after the event. I like you, you seem to be a deep thinker, and I recon we would have a lot to talk about in real life. But for me, in trading, I'm not so deep. Plan, execute, copy, paste, job done. Empty "thoughts" but full focused on the task at hand, in that moment

Bitcoin is a testversion to achieve their goals in term of total control. I am not expert but bitcoin is also traceable only you need a better computer to perform faster calculations. And at the monent it is also controlled by the gates.

Bitcoin is a testversion. Maybe they will keep it as a virtual gold to their own digital currencies

Read the article. Binance / Bitcoin was fined a billion $(?) because they could not trace bitcoin activity. CEO resigned.
