If number surprises today (Core PCE) and is higher than expected, GBP/USD could drop 30pips or more in a second. I would not go long before news come out -at least not now. I will take a tiny short. I have a feeling PCE Core will surprise to the upside.
It could also swing all the way up too.

dx good bounce target overhead while no good bottoming so far , crazy actions seeing , previous signal 102.92 now limit for up , wavewise running a 5th up /last to do or die before correction possibly !
gu tested strong support at top 2630 , may still can test 2620 , but as last limit 2643 broken , so top failure in place wave wise but channel wise upto 2620 ok for bull action as last leg up before correction down! lets see , take care

...that prev 1hr sw lo zone = prev supp = pot sbr along with fibs @ the current p/back hi of the 2732-2631 move.

Anyway: Numbers were as expected, so sell of dropped directly after news as expected if numbers are not as bad as market expected. Initial Drop Was too fast, so they pulled it up to take out long orders and let it drop again. Here we are currently. Could sell with a profit my long.

Market messed up now. No trade. Bias short. Even no scalp long for me.

MM trapping retails on the wrong side for wave (c)-black of WAVE iv-(blue)

Once wave (a)-black completed, we move fib retracement from only wave (v) of WAVE iii-(blue) to whole WAVE iii - to see where WAVE iv is possibly going to find support before WAVE v

Ok...they struggle to sell lower, means accumulating volume from last our before news is almost priced in (sold) so small long bias now, took a small long at 1.2640, only scalp. Short term was selling pressure due to speculating before on bad numbers from US- which failed. When selling is finished could go up to new highs due to technical analysis. Of course the numbers today make longs on GBP/USD on long term NOT really happier. But up trend should continue as long as their no big changes in numbers from expectation. But of course also number today was a (small) warning sign that US is not fully cooling down yet.

...2628-24 3 fib cluster, then a 4 fib cluster 2603-2595, then 2576-68 a 3 fib cluster, then 2557-53 a 3 fib cluster.
