Still a few days left until the underlying cycle tops, with room to move to 6/8 MML (4685) confluent with the top of the 256 channel. FP target is 4732 +-10%.

DislikedParisboy, Dave & others willing to respond. What is your view on Gann's Square of 9 for trading? I feel it has some connection to our friend Murrey's Math. If you use one of the freely available Square of Nine software's & allow a 5-point difference in when the software tells you to enter long or short the results seem to be very reasonable especially if you take the trend into consideration. Your views & comments are most welcome. ___________________________________________Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Ace, I have an alternative view to the group - Make of it what you will - EVERY single one of those Sq9 trades resulted in decent results, not only that, but the confidence of being positioned for a move around the date Sq9 for reference {image} GOLD weekly - Here's the angle reduction showing up: Note the ANGLE at the 2011 high = 130.645 Square root minus 1, resquared = 108.7845 (Angles are declining so we minus the increment, rather than add it) - adding/deducting 1 moves you 180 degs around the circle, adding 2 gets a full 360 degs...Ignored

DislikedHere's a suggestion for determining the lookback setting for Murrey Math Lines. We already know there is a strong relationship between the MML octave and the 256 channel width, infact imo they should be one and the same, so I set my 256 channel width to match the MML octave. We also know the 256 channel should encapsulate the major price swings. If after setting the 256 channel to match the MML octave, the 256 channel doesn't encapsulate the price swings then imo the MML octave is incorrect. This can be corrected by adjusting the MML lookback until...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I haven't used Square of Nine for a while now, but I do remember some good winners in demo using the excel version I have. It just seems so simple that it's hard to believe it really works. Would really like to have a MT4 or MT5 indicator that mimics the excel version. Thank you for sharing your views as they are most appreciated.Ignored
