For what have seen over sometime now, over 90% of the time when those guys offload their positions is 200 pips down, it might change later but now is
what i keep seeing. it can last for 3 days to a week, some times very fast within 2 days but it stops at 200 pips or close to.
Sometimes it goes slow and steady, sometimes it goes wild and fast.

1.256 still waiting for its Re-test.

24454 is a good zone to watch especially the 1hr OB unmitigated.
We have many confluence happening there. Expecting to be end of Corrective Wave C at this zone

We are currently in corrective Wave A, if i get the wave count correctly.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

Thank you for your reply. Unless you had the trading plans of every market participant worlwide pre-thanksgiving you could not have known that this was 'the' plan pre-thanksgiving. Also, your suggestion that the pre-thanksgiving drop was '...aborted...' suggests collusion of plans amongst many market-moving players. Now, whilst this 'informally' undoubtedly goes on, whether this was one of those occasions, - at our retail level we can not know this, and in any event, again, unless you had the plans of those doing the colluding, in advance, you would not have known. Your hypothesis is therefore only speculation on your part.

The aforegoing is not to say that there won't be further downside, even to the point you suggest, but, you, I, and everyone else don't know. Anything can happen. Perhaps it is something you have empirical evidence to back up; ie after a strong run-up or down price pulls back to a certain point, in which case you will have a probability of this happening again based on what has happened in the past, assuming the sample evidence is large and representative enough, (whether on this particular occassion it does or does not,) but in the absence of it, it is only as I suggest, save to say generally that the 'buy the dip' phenomenon (after a strong run-up) is an oft used tactic in trading.

Today some traders might think it's the right time to trade support, support will hold, etc but all am saying is that when those guys offload their positions
no support or resistant holds them, the amount of money/force thrown breaks every lows and take out supports with our money, if your on the wrong side.
Instead keep selling, find your entries and scalp, you can make more than 100 pips from a 50 pips move.

I think what you are saying is that after a strong run large run-up there follows a sizeable pullback (and vice versa for a downtrend,) and as a general thing that is fair enough and a good observation.

Well done and well said. Like you have rightly put it, i agree with all you have said. i don't have crystal balls to know but everything am point out is what i keep seeing on my chart, and i make some pips from it. so you called a different name and give it a different analysis and i do the same, where i get wrong you can give some hindsight. Am not here to be right am here to keep building wealth. Cheers

Hi, just to be clear, I didn't suggest that this would be a minor correction, I said that like always, I didn't know. Martinez1's general point/observation of what would effectively be a large pullback after a strong and large run-up is a good one, but no one knows what this particular one will be.

Lol, no I am not a professor, but I do have journalistic experience (way back - pre trading career,) and continue to write daily analyses for a couple of large-cap trading clients (born out of my previous life as an institutional trader) as a sideline, so have to be clear and concise because it may contribute to their trading decisions. (I trade only my own money though.)
