Can US Treasury department do that?

I think in a more stable currency CHF? or JPY work with BOJ?

I don't believe the US Treasury or US FED can issue debt in a currency other than US$. They can hold other currencies.

Thanks for sharing your thought here.
Apart from today's unemployment claims data, we have a few other key releases to monitor.

Crucial among them is the Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE) price index, the Federal Reserve's preferred measure of inflation.
The PCE data will provide insights into whether the recent disinflationary trend is persisting.
If the core PCE index falls below expectations, the USD could extend its recent downward trajectory.

On Friday, Fed Chair JayPow will take center stage, following Fed Governor Christopher Waller's suggestion on Tuesday of a potential rate cut in the coming months.

Overall, the USD has weakened significantly in November, down 3.7%, as expectations for Fed rate cuts in the first half of 2024 have intensified.

I agree, this shows that the US itself is not confidence with its own currency.

This defies the whole point of USD as world reserve 'stable' currency

Sure, but if the FF calendar is correct they are all around the same time, so much of the muchness. Enough time to order some crack and hookers before the big event.

Edit: If the numbers come out interesting, that is.
